The fastest way to reach me is by text, though email also works well. I offer same-day or same-week scheduling based on availability.

No problem! I love working with people who are new to therapy. I am open to answer any questions and love to provide education. My hope is to provide a warm and encouraging environment and make it less scary to come in. Everyone starts their therapy journey somewhere, even therapists! I try to remember what that was like and give guidance along the way.

Working with me is a welcoming, non-judgmental experience where you can feel free to be open and honest. While I bring structure to our sessions through techniques and goals, I’m flexible and responsive to your unique needs and pace. I will help you by continually believing in your ability to become your best self. I’m here to listen, understand, and meet you where you are. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe space. You’ll find that working with me is collaborative—I'm not here to give you all the answers but to help you discover insights, patterns, and strengths within yourself.

I recommend weekly sessions. Establishing a strong, trusting relationship between the two of us is essential before change can happen. Every other week sessions often don’t provide the closeness and momentum needed to reach your goals. However, I do prioritize people’s financial needs and time constraints. Some therapy is better than no therapy and a surprising amount can be done in even just a few sessions.
I am also open to twice a week sessions for clients that are under a lot of stress and need extra support for a period of time. This is often helpful after traumatic events, loss, major life changes, etc.

It’s important to me to find a consistent time that works for you. I’m available for appointments Monday through Thursday, with extended evening hours Tuesday through Thursday, ending by 6:30 PM. My earliest appointment begins at 9:00 AM. I don’t work on weekends, and while I can accommodate most times, availability may vary depending on the season and my current schedule.

Progress in therapy is a highly personal journey. Most people begin to see progress with weekly sessions over several months, though the timeframe varies depending on your goals and the nature of any specific concerns. Some mental health issues may require long-term or ongoing support, much like a chronic health condition.
For many, having a long-term connection with a therapist provides comfort, allowing you to check in as needed, take breaks when feeling stable, and return whenever you need extra support.
Personally, I believe there’s always something valuable to explore or process in therapy. You’re welcome to share when you feel ready to dive in!
Remember, therapy is a two-way commitment that requires emotional investment to be effective. For all these reasons, each person’s journey and timeframe are unique.
