I’m originally from West Palm Beach, FL. I'm bicultural—Venezuelan and American. I love working with children of immigrants like myself as well as others who want to explore their identities. My academic background is in education, the arts, and anthropology. I graduated from Dartmouth College in 2016 and earned my Master's and Education Specialist degrees from the University of Florida in 2021.
As a therapist, I value both intuition and research equally. I'm a lifelong learner who stays up-to-date with counseling research and methodologies. I'm always ready to share this knowledge with my clients and welcome any questions you have.
Being observant and sensitive by nature, I use my intuition to guide our sessions. I embrace complexity and strive to understand all the layers of your identity and story. I'm not afraid to delve deep with you. I'll help you untangle your thoughts and get to the root of the issue. Everyone has a unique story, and our environments play a significant role in our struggles. My goal is to grasp the complexity of your story, help you navigate the pain, embrace your strengths, and cultivate hope for the future. You're the main character in your own narrative, and I'm here to support you.
I began my career working with children in a community setting and now have experience with both children and adults. Besides traditional talk therapy, I enjoy incorporating play and art therapy techniques with clients of all ages. With my insight and creativity, I can help you cut through the emotional clutter and find new solutions.
I'm inspired every day by my clients' ability to self-heal, grow, and break cycles when given nurturing support. I firmly believe in not giving up on anyone and will remain patient and empathetic for as long as it takes. I'll be there to celebrate each moment of growth with you. Let's work together!
