Let’s Tend to Your Needs
Therapy that Provides a Safe Space for You to Grow
Haven’t you held it in long enough?
You don’t have to carry this weight forever.
Therapy with me will be a place to slow down, take a moment and share your story with someone who cares. I believe in a gentle approach. I am here to listen and understand the environment shaping your struggles first, so that we can begin to unravel the deeper meaning of what’s been going on.
As the child of an immigrant, a graduate of Dartmouth College, and a highly-sensitive person, my own life journey informs the work I do with clients. I know that given the right conditions, anyone can grow. My job as a therapist is to try to help you figure out who you are and what you need to flourish.
When I'm not working, I enjoy gardening for wildlife, writing, and spending time with my husband and two cats!

My Approach
Like everything else in nature, growing takes time and nurturing. I'm committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all of my clients to explore their feelings and experiences without feeling judged or shamed.
Let me help you untangle what’s going on for you and figure out the next steps. I can help you learn to stand up to the outside pressures and assert yourself. You deserve to feel proud of yourself and secure in who you are. Together we can work on self-esteem, self-discovery, and processing painful memories to help build you back up and carve out some room for joy.
The Office Space
My office is conveniently located in NW Gainesville in a suite called ‘Counseling Associates’ that I share with 4 other local mental health professionals.
We are nearby Fresh Market, Yoga Pod NW, The Flying Biscuit Cafe, and Thornebrook Plaza. The office is a ~10 minute drive from The Reitz Union and accessible via RTS bus. We have plenty of open parking directly outside and are wheelchair accessible.
How to get scheduled:
Reach out and let me know a little about what is bringing you into counseling.
Within 1-3 business days you’ll hear back from me via email or text.
We will discuss scheduling and I can answer any questions you may have for me.
I will get you scheduled for our first session together typically within 10 days of initial contact.
I will send you some paperwork to fill out virtually before your first appointment and then we’re ready to begin!
